Chocolate Banana Protein Smoothie

Vegetarian, gluten and dairy free, nut free option

Ingredients: 1 serving

  • 2 cups unsweetened plant milk
  • 1 serving of chocolate protein powder, this is my favourite protein powder
  • 1 ripe banana, fresh or frozen
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 ice cubes if you prefer your smoothie cold and thick
  • Optional: 2 tbsp hemp hearts and 1 tbsp almond butter or nut free alternative

How to Make:

  1. Add ingredients into a blender in the order listed above
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Serve and enjoy!
  4. Save by sealing in a mason jar or drink immediately

Trina’s Tidbits:

One of my friends drinks this smoothie every single day. I should have named it after her. Change it up with a bit of peppermint to the smoothie.  Freeze this smoothie into small popsicles, they are so delicious.
